The MAMMAMIA project was initially founded by three Italian-speaking mothers from Italy and Switzerland in 2018.

MAMMAMIA stems from the desire to create, with other local families, a place to practice, preserve and share the beauty of Italian culture with the people of Liverpool and its surrounding areas.

MAMMAMIA cannot grow and go on without the fundamental support of many volunteers and families who helped us. We also work in partnership with the Department of Italian Studies of the University of Liverpool and the Dante Alighieri Society Liverpool.
