Course Overview
This online course is designed to prepare students for the Italian A-Level examination. It supports the development of all four language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—enabling students to use Italian confidently and accurately at an advanced level. Through live, interactive lessons, students receive structured guidance aimed at achieving strong exam performance and linguistic fluency.
What We Cover
The course is built around a range of contemporary themes and issues relating to Italy, which form the basis for language development and discussion. Students explore these topics in depth and work with authentic Italian materials to strengthen comprehension and analytical skills.
Key components of the programme include:
- Study and analysis of one set book and one film
- Preparation for all A-Level exam components: listening, reading, speaking, translation, and written papers
- Development of advanced writing skills, including essay structure and argumentation
- A research project based on Italian-language written sources
